Response to Covid-19

FROM THE DESK OF PASTOR STEPHEN MENDOZA

Dear Members of Revival Mission

RM’s response to the Prime Minister’s address to the nation on Wednesday 18th March 2020 advising against mass gatherings of 10 persons or more because of the COVID 19 global pandemic.

This is indeed a time for global prayer. The situation around the world is unprecedented, nonetheless, the church has been forewarned through various Bible passages to seek God for deliverance and His mercy.

As a church we shall act responsibly by cooperating with the Government to do our part to slow down and eventually stop the spread of this virus.

I may shut the sky so that there is no rain, or command grasshoppers to devour the countryside, or send an epidemic among my people.

However, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, search for me, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear their prayer from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their country. 2Ch 7:13-14

You do not need to fear terrors of the night, arrows that fly during the day, plagues that roam the dark, epidemics that strike at noon.

They will not come near you, even though a thousand may fall dead beside you or ten thousand at your right side. Psa 91
